We engage the public with educational opportunities at every one of our events. Partnering with some of Louisiana’s most prominent hospitals and cancer organizations, we are happy to provide cancer-related pamphlets and educational seminars.

Knowledge Empowers

We’re dedicated to empowering individuals through education. We provide comprehensive resources and information about various types of cancers, their risk factors, symptoms, and treatment options.

Community Outreach

Our foundation collaborates with local hospitals, organizations, and healthcare providers to deliver impactful educational initiatives.

Our nonprofit cancer foundation emphasizes the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to prevent cancer.

We actively support cancer research to better understand the causes of cancer and develop preventive interventions. Our foundation partners with CAGLA to advocate for policies that promote cancer prevention, such as increased funding for research, and accessible screenings for all.

Screening Campaigns

We actively promote early detection through screening events, the “Be Well Bus” at St. Tammany Health Systems, and screenings through Mary Bird Perkins– providing free screenings for more than 20 years. We strategically partner with hospitals to help promote screenings for various types of cancers such as breast, cervical, prostate, colorectal, & skin.

Awareness of Warning Signs

Learning the warning signs are vital to early detection. Catching cancer early greatly increases the chances of successful treatment, and can radically improve outcomes.

Healthcare Provider Collaboration

By working with medical professionals, we advocate for the integration of cancer screenings into routine healthcare practices.
