An Ace for Cancer Cure on the Northshore

Rich Mauti presented St. Tammany Health System and St. Tammany Hospital Foundation with a $6,250 check from the Rich Mauti Tennis Classic held every year to benefit the Mauti Cancer Fund, an organization dedicated to fighting cancer with the mission to raise funds to advance the fight against cancer on the Northshore. Over the last forty years, the fund has raised more than $3.5 million to impact cancer care for patients in Louisiana.

Rich Mauti’s impact does not end there. As a member of the Cancer Advocacy Group of Louisiana, Rich collaborates with individuals to fight for legislation and administration regulations in the State of Louisiana that promote, support, and facilitate cancer research and education, as well as the wellbeing of cancer patients, survivors, and their families. This work will transform how patients are cared for in the future.

This year’s gift from the Mauti Cancer Fund will go to support the Be Well Bus mobile community health and screening suite that will soon be rolling to fairs, festivals, employee-sponsored gatherings and more. To learn more about the Be Well Bus, visit StTammany.Health/BeWell.

We are honored to be a recipient of this gift to impact the future of cancer care in our community.
